I had a wonderful experience with The Plug Electrician here in Raleigh. John was friendly, knowledgable, and gave me a great price on several projects I needed complete (light fixture and ceiling fan installation, new electrical socket, and replacing several old electrical sockets). He completed everything in a couple hours and I could not be happier with the results. I would highly recommend him if you're in the triangle and surrounding areas.

We recently hired John from The Plug Electrician to run wiring in our garage for a new garage door installation. John had excellent communication with us about scheduling in the job and kept us up to date on his arrival time. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional and we'd have no hesitation hiring him again for any future electrical work.

John was great! He ran two Ethernet cables through my attic and dropped them into two rooms for me. He did great service, easy to get ahold of, and quick scheduling. Not to mention he did clean work and helped explain some technical details for me upon request.

We are so thankful to have found John! He has now completed a few different electrical projects and assessments for us, and we could not be more pleased! John is timely, reliable, knowledgeable, and efficient. He is honest and looks to do what is in the customer’s best interest, while always providing a spectrum of options. John is also quite gracious and kind with our older rescue dog every time he is here, which we appreciate. We will absolutely be using John for all of our electrical needs moving forward, and could not recommend him more highly!

I recently hired The Plug Electric LLC to install a 60-amp hardwired EV charger at my home, and I had an excellent experience from beginning to end. The entire process—from the initial estimate to the final inspection—was handled with professionalism, expertise, and clear communication. John thoroughly inspected my garage, the exterior of the house, and the crawl space before explaining the best installation approach in detail. He returned the next day and completed the work with great attention to detail, including all wiring, conduit, breaker, and hardware. The installation was clean, organized, and fully up to code. He also handled the electrical permit and coordinated the Wake County inspection, which made the whole process completely stress-free. I received the Duke Energy rebate with no issues. The charger works perfectly, and the finished installation looks great. I’m very happy with both the result and the smooth overall experience. If you’re looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and honest electrician for EV charger installation, I highly recommend The Plug Electric LLC. John delivered excellent workmanship and outstanding service.
